| WAV files are the little dings, bells, and other
sounds you hear on your computer when you turn it on, change programs, make
a mistake, etc.
You can hear these sounds with the tiny speaker
that it built in to These should also work with about any web browser. WAV files can also have music and voices. At this point they can become huge files that are not practical to listen to on the internet unless you have a very fast internet connection. You are better off downloading them and playing them later with your built in media player. If you can't hear the following files on line you should be able to download them and play them using your Windows built in Media Player Or Sound Recorder Or Your Sound Card Player, such as Sound Blasters Creative WAV player or any other player that you have on your computer that supports these file formats. AU files are somewhat similar to WAV files. Usually they are much smaller in size. They can also be played with the Windows built In Media Player Or Sound Recorder or any other player that you have on your computer that supports this file format. If you do not have a WAV player other than the built in Windows media player you may want to download another one or two for playing off line WAV files. There are a lot of free ones available that are as good as the Windows built in Media Player. You can pick some of them up by searching with your favorite engine for Free WAV players.
